Counsellor‑in‑Training
MACP student at Yorkville University | Staff Sergeant, RCMP. Serving Beaumont and area. Exploring practicum opportunities for 2027.
I’m a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) student at Yorkville University with nearly two decades of service in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. My approach is trauma‑informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based practice. I’m pursuing a practicum in 2027 and welcome conversations with clinics about fit, supervision, and site needs.
Grounded, paced work emphasizing safety, regulation, and meaning‑making.
Systemic perspective with attention to attachment, roles, and communication.
Culturally informed support for those serving in high‑stress roles.
Yorkville provides a comprehensive supervisor guide; I can share the handbook and a concise overview on request.
I’m happy to share my resume, practicum overview, and Yorkville’s supervisor guide. Coffee is on me.
